Two days ago it was ninty plus degrees outside here in Sunny SC. Today as I sit typing my Weather Bug tells me it's 67. I hope it stays this temperature. Then my air won't run and my power bills will be cheaper.

"Here" being wherever the speaker is at the moment, which is generally pretty much anywhere on the surface of the planet, as everyone seems to think this statement refers to a unique aspect of their local meteorology...

I thought SC was fairly reliable weather-wise:
Rainy season, followed by the season of RoseBowl Day, then Flood (the why behind RoseBowl floats), Mudslide, JuneGloom, the Hot&Dry (aka the Brownout}, finish with the Fire season, then repeat the cycle over again.

Actually, we've had LOTS of rain this summer. Beginning of October is often the up and down season. One day it's hot, next chilly and back and forth. For example, tomorrow it's supposed to be in the low 80's then Monday and Tuesday back to the Low 70's. It's also supposed to rain alot this week.

It was 40 a couple nights ago in Detroit, and now we're back to 80 again?

This is the ONLY part of Michigan weather that I hate.

I LOVE the rain and gloom. It is the sunshine that I can't bear. Today and yesterday were filled from dawn til dusk with abundant sunshine. And poor me was forced out into the light both days.

Ugh. I'm feeling yucky. I need to run to the store for some milk and veggies, but I will wait until night falls.

Just an update.

I think (now that it's almost November) that we have finally hit true fall here. It'll stick around for a couple weeks and then the wintery cold will start moving in.

It's only in the 60's outside and it already feels ice-cold in my apartment. I'm worried about what's going to happen when it gets into the 40's and 30's. [Angst]

Except here. Or other tropical countries.

Here, we have two conditions, Rain or Not Rain. Or, to be more specific, Monsoon or Not Monsoon. That's it.

Otherwise, at night, it sits between 25-27 Celsius, and days are 28-35 Celsius. Every single day. No exceptions. [Smile]
