That's a pretty awesome landmark of his, isn't it? I think it was the first landmark I read when I first came as a lurker...

Pop was probably at the gym and is now probably getting the kids lunch.

He was a camp counselor at Forest Home (not to be confused with Forest Lawn) in CA.

"not to be confused with Forest Lawn"

Yeah, that would be a easy bunch to coordinate.

I was at the gym, then came home and just finished getting the kids lunch.

I think every camp has to have a counsellor named "Moose" at one time or another.

I've never had a camp with someone named Moose... though there was one with a Trout.

Manypoint is in Northern Minnesota. Didnt think it could be the same Moose but that would have been awesome

Northern MN? Really? I grew up in northern Minnesota.

Ah so. You may be right. The camp I was thinking of was one I went to later, as a scout leader.

But I did go to Manypoint as a scout. I remember the camp quite clearly, if not the exact location.
