I don't know if I agree with all these. I think my favorite is #10, and it's one of only three in there that I actually recognize, though I've never actually held the magazine in my hands. It's an incredible shot.

I really don't like any of those covers. They are all sort of bland to me.

They tend to be more about the impact of the event or the cultural realisation than the art, I think.

Link's dead for me. Is it something on my end?

It was horribly slow when I did it, so maybe it finally died.

Other than #4, which I have long adored, I disagree with almost all of them.

I love no. 10, too. I actually recognize a lot of those, which shocked me a lot because I'm not really a "pop culture" kind of person.
But I am prone to going to museums that sometimes have exhibits about the influence of such-and-such on pop culture or the common American or whatever, so maybe that's it.

Link is slow, but it works for me, everyone else okay?

I thought most of them deserved to be on the list, but disagreed on some of the placements.

Number 16 is really, really funny. Especially considering the headline. And even more especially since I never suspected that "The Economist" would have that good a sense of humor.

I like the National Lampoon one. It's always made me snicker.
