Twice a year, I have to change the time adjustment on this and some other forums I frequent. I know, I know, it's not THAT big a deal, but still, it gives me something to whine about.

See, this forum has a time adjustment that I can make, + or - however many hours I choose. But then the USA and Canada have that Daylight Savings thing happening, so clocks in those locations change. And the forum clocks change with it.

Now, other forums I visit, instead of having a hour adjustment to enter have the capability of entering which time zone I'm in. I simply enter +6 GMT, and my time is always correct. Even after daylight savings changes. Those forums know how to deal with parts of the world with daylight savings and parts of the world without at the same time.

Sigh.

Why can't all forums be that way? *whine*

(I know, I know, it's minor. Trivial. Small, even. I get it. )

I'm sick of a lot of aspects of being one of the only states that doesn't have daylight savings. But that's all going to change! I still don't know if we're going with central or eastern, I vote central, but at least the TV shows won't keep changing times on me depending on what part of the year it is.

Oh I love not changing, and am totallly sick of our governor. Thecca, it isn't looking like we'll all be on one time, most likely it'll be pretty random.

It's like being happy at the "free money" you get from tax returns.

<---pissed off that Indiana is starting daylight savings time.

For that matter, pissed off that daylight savings time exists. Why one earth would someone want to change the time twice every year?!?

It's like someone woke up and said, "OH, I'm a genius, I have a brilliant idea to make the world even more complicated!"

I don't know if I agree that the time change actually accomplishes these things, but I rather like the idea of doing it to save energy. And preventing car crashes and crime is good too, of course.

No DST is one of the best things about living in Arizona. I'll miss it when we move next summer.
