Odd indeed. I don't think I am giving anything away by telling you this about the ending: it doesn't end in a preposition.

I love Strunk & White. But this (at least the samples) sounds AWFUL! *shudder* Some things, I hate to say it, just should not be musicals. [Razz]

I love Strunk & White too, but I think grammar manuals definitely count as one of those things. Also, anything about a circus, generally bad. Carnival. Ugh.
