I haven't read a good one in a while becaue this year has been great for fantasy, and I would appreciate any help I can get.

I really enjoyed Spin, by Robert Charles Wilson. I had a few writer's gripes about the way he structured the story, but it was a good read nonetheless.

Thanks, I read the excerpt on Amazon.com and it seems good.

I second Robert Charles Wilson, and Robert J Sawyer is another great author. Flashforward and Calculating God are my favorites.

I'm quite fond of Kay Kenyon. Pretty much anything she's written, but Tropic of Creation is outstanding.

I'll make sure to check out Sawyer and Kenyon. I already read the Hyperion series and loved it.
