... and now for the lighter side of human rights abuses: one of this month's Amnesty International letter writing campaigns is for a couple of political prisoners in Libya.

Here's the mailing address you use to send a letter to Gaddafi:

Why does he keep the title of Colonel?
Why not give himself a fancy new title?
At least he should promote himself to General.

He keeps thet title to remind his loyal (and supportive) subjects just how humble he is. They can rest assured knowing that no matter how many of them he kills, he is doing it to make Libya strong.
