Incidentally, that’s exactly as communism is supposed to work, as described by dear old Marx. People are just suppose to magically share their things and everyone happens to get what they need and so forth…. And communism is what happens after democracy and an industrial revolution. Stalin and Mao’s versions of communism, with a jump from an agricultural-based society into a “communist” totalitarian one run by a central government are quite different from the academic communism proposed by Marx.

Exactly Jhai, the Russian empire, China, and every other "communist" nation never were Communist... they failed to reach that last step and got stuck on Dictatorship. That was the magical thing that was supposed to happen...after the revolution against the old guard a supreme government is set up to create Communism, but was supposed to dissolve itself in the final phase.
