Blasted burrito beans!

I'm member number 8889. So close to having four of the same in a row. Who is 8888?

This guy.

Darn! And it is really quite unfortunate because his username is not even remotely cool. Especially when you compare it to mine.

I'm so glad my name IS cool.

I've like allanon's posts so far. You could always shoot for 9999.

Or not.

Fine, rub it in, mph.

(Allanon is a Druid in Terri Brooks "Shannarah" books. Not sure if everyone already knew that, but I thought Id stick up for the guy in his absence. Allanon was a pretty cool character)

*rubs it in*

I knew I knew that name from somewhere. I read some of those books awhile back.

See, some people need to rely on an arbitrary number for their coolness. Others don't.

Posted by kojabu (Member # 8042) on :

You have a cool post number SM. Sadly it'll disappear soon though.

Why is that?

Oh, okay. I just thought he had a relative who is an alcoholic...

That's what I thought, kq.

Well, I figured that if Al-Anon was for people who have a relative who is an alcoholic, then Allanon was for people who have all their relatives alcoholic.

You'd need a big ol' bus to be the designated driver after family gatherings.

(Terry Brooks. He's a guy.)

What a lame quest.

And it's "Shannara," not "Shannarah."

Posted by Tante Shvester (Member # 8202) on :

Are you sure it's not ShaNaNa?

Really. I'm still laughing.

[ROFL]

Ok. Sorry. That's probably irreverant of me.

I think MOF has a point. He probably has the best number, cept maybe this person, who clearly is no longer a participating member of this forum, so his number should be recycled. All in favor? (perhaps he quit the forum BECAUSE of his member number?)

That's not funny. I've been to family gatherings of one branch of the family where this was true. [Frown]

Luckily, most of them are now "recovering". [Smile]

er, right, Shannara. hehe. You can see how much attention I paid those books.

Of course, you are right. It was inappropriate for me to make light about that. Glad to hear that they are in recovery.
