The only independent bookstore in town, which is also the only used bookstore in town is buring down right now. It has apartments above it and is part of a line of shops that includes a craftstore and a music store, both of which will probably have serious smoke damage, if they don't burn as well.

Not yet, all we know is that it's been burning for about an hour and a half and by the amounts of smoke we could see billowing off of it it's pretty bad. We're hoping to know more in the morning. My roommate's boyfriend works there. Luckily, everyone got out safely, but as far as I can tell that's about all the good news.
It's also in a really bad part of town for a fire to start. It's packed in with all of the bars and stores that cater to students.
