My brother purchased the video game Metal Arms: Glitch in the System from Kohl's.
I didn't think anything of it when I heard the word Morbots used to refer to robots that lived under the planet's surface. But then I read IT .
In IT , Ben Hanscom refers to the drainage pipes as Morlock holes. And then, as my brother played the game, I made the connection.
I don't know if the writers of the game were trying to honor H.G. Wells, or if they just thought they'd make a joke.
But I'm assuming that Morbots was inspired by Morlocks.
Has anyone else heard of this game?

Asimov? The Morlocks were created by H.G. Wells in "The Time Machine".

My bad. I didn't think Asimov sounded right. Forgive me, please. I've had a rough day. I'm sick and shouldn't have gone to school today, but I had to because of finals.

My sympathies. I'm sick as well. But no finals, and I work at home, so at least I haven't had to go out.

Well, sickness seems to be going around. Mine seems to be derived from some bad tuna salad I ate yesterday. I've been sick to my stomach since. And already had a really bad cold.
