They still aren't sure of the cause of death.

His older sister was in a lot of my classes in high school. She is a really sweet girl. She was always nice to me, even when others weren't.

I hope the family is okay. [Frown]

I didn't read that article, but on our news (Indianapolis), they just said about a month ago 911 was called because they thought James Dungy was having a drug overdose.

According to this article, it looks like a suicide.

I'm wondering if I should try to get back in touch with his sister, or even how to do so. But I'm sure she has a lot to deal with right now.

Oh, wow. I didn't realize until I looked at the pictures that I've met this kid before. I placed third in a county-wide art contest (Hillsborough County, Tampa) and Tony Dungy and his son were at the reception....they seemed like really nice people. How sad for the family. They will definitely be in my prayers. [Frown]

I've never heard ANYONE say anything negative about Tony Dungy as a person. He was also VERY intimately involved with his children. They work games with him, and he once threatened to forfeit when a referee told him his son was too young to be helping out on the sidelines during games.

Whoa, Avadaru, since when did you grow up in Hillsborough?

I'm scared. You are stalking me.

Edit: I'm pretty sure, as Paul said, that all of his kids got involved as much as they could, when they were old enough. His daughter used to work at the Bucs games, too.

I lived there for a year, my freshman year in high school. I grew up here in Louisiana.
