For the past three weeks there has been a large box in our spare room that I have been told not to look at. Despite its big size and large pictures, I was told not to see it.

So I ignored it for two weeks.

Then when my wife and son had time, they wrapped it up in Christmas Paper and put it next to the tree.

Several times Sasha started to tell me what the secret present was, but I wouldn't let him.

I refused to know what I was getting for Christmas, what was in this box.

Then, today, I was playing with Sasha. He has a stuffed dog he got from "Build-A-Bear". It has a puppy that comes with it. Sasha was playing the puppy--Ivan, and I was playing with the dog--Yuri, Ivan's father.

Everything was going fine until Sasha said, "Its Christmas morning. Ivan opens up his presents." What followed was an imaginary list of things that Ivan got for Christmas, and that Sasha wants to get.

Then I asked the bad question. "What did Yuri get?"

"He got a doggy Chainsaw."

As soon as I asked I realized what the answer would be. He just told me what my present was. If I could quickly move onto something else, perhaps I could ignore what he said.

"Did you hear me papa. He got a doggy CHAINSAW."

Ok. Maybe if I change the subject quickly Momma won't realize that Sasha just spilled the beans.

"Does he like his Chainsaw Papa? Its a good one. Why don't you play with the Chainsaw?"

It would be easier to change the subject if I wasn't laughing.

Fifteen repeats of the word "Chainsaw" later Sasha finally moves on. My wife thinks I did this on purpose, and I, well, I am getting a new Chainsaw for Christmas.
