My son has led me to consider the following deeply philosophical questions, and what good are deeply philosophical questions if I can't pass the deep thoughts onto the other Jatraquero:
1) Does the Ice Queen have Nija's on her side? 2) On which side of the big fight do the Mutant Ninja Teenage Turtles fight on? 3) On which side does Darth Vader/Anakin ultimately fall on? 4) Is Simba a decendant of Asalon? 5) Would giving swords to the hyena's be a really bad thing?

3) Anakin, despite being a murderer many times over "still has good left in him". Thus, all he needs to do is save a blood relative at the very last minute to be completely redeemed and rejoin the Light Side! Whee.
4) Simba is a bizarre, imperfect clone of Kimba.
5) Hyenas wouldn't be able to use swords, but they may bribe gnolls to do so. That'd be a bad thing.

hum, very interessant questions indeed...
After a long time of thought, I think to have some french answers to you.
Firstly, you can denote that the first question is implicitly answered if the Teenage Mutant Heros Turtles (les Tortues Ninjas in french) fight in one side. I explain : If the TMHT challenge in one side for the big battle, Shreider and his bad guys come on the other side. Simply a carthesian logic. But, In the movie, we can see in the Asalon side a rhinoceros. And Do you remember who is one of the two bad guys of Shreider ? Who is always with his friend the wild boar ? Yes ! It's the Rhino !
So, Shreider is in the Asalon's side. Logic.
And The Turtles are in the white witch's side. And the Witch has ninja.
But there is a little inconvenient in this reasonment : the Turtles dislike the cold. So they cannot be in the witch's side.
In consequence, The Teenage Mutant Heros Turtle don't participate to this war. In the same time, Shreider too. And the rhinoceros is just a coïncidence.
This doesn't answer the question about the possibility of Ninja's witch... The secret of the Ninja is to be invisible and incredibly sneak... So, my answer about him is "maybe".
Now, about Darth Vador... He made a very good work for the Dark side by eliminating the jedi knights, but in the same time he killed the strongest Dark side member (and quasi unique) : the Emperor... So he doesn't work for the light side nor the dark. He work for the universal Balance of the Force.
For Simba, It's maybe the descendant of Asalon. No prouf...
