It's for an article I'm writing. I need gadgets that I can associate with Valentine's Day. Unfortunately for many of you, sex toys are out. Well, as far as the article is concerned, that is. [Razz] Any suggestions?

What kind of gadgets or geek toys would you like from your loved one? Or... You know, anything like that?

http://www.kleinbottle.com

Anything from there. Especially a large bottle or a klein hat. And a printout of the guarantee and "WHy You Want and Acme Klein Bottle."

You are sick, sick, sick, sick, sick. Well, okay, you're not, but I just felt like I had to say that. [Razz] I'm now going to end up spending hours at that site, and it's all your fault! [Mad]

Thanks! [Smile]

So far, my favorites are the Tantalus wine glass and Tantalus mug.

See, nowhere does it state that my article has to be serious. In fact, I'm encouraged to use humour as much as possible, especially if it involves unmasculating men. [Razz] I could have a lot of fun with this. [Big Grin]

I can't believe people are already thinking about Valentine's day. Can't we just bask in the atmosphere of the holidays? Valentine's is my least favorite holiday. Do I really have to think about it yet?

I'm not going to think about it. I'm not going to think about it when it's here.

Posted by quidscribis (Member # 5124) on :

I have to think about it now because my article is due in 5 days.

Otherwise, I'd probably not think about it at all.

Sorry. [Frown]

Hey, I don't begrudge anyone else for thinking about it. (Especially when they have an article due.) I'm just being deliberately nasty about it because it's my most hated holiday. [Smile]

*sigh* I guess it's okay. As long as I get to make my annual *cupid sux* black broken heart sugar cookies, I'm fine. [Razz]

Writing the article is fine, I just don't like the fact that it comes earlier and earlier every year. But good luck with your article. I wish I could help.

On a serious side, the Ultimate Valentines Gadget, a I-Pod Shuffle loaded with love songs or just Barry Manilow

Nasty's fine, as are cupid sux cookies. If I weren't married, I'd be right there with you, but as it is, I have a built in date for all occasions. Unfortunately, he doesn't actually take me out anywhere. [Frown]

Ah well.

Unfortunately, I already did an article on the iPod. [Frown] Too recent to do again.

I'll have to think about whether or not I can do other mp3 players... Cuz otherwise, it's a great idea, Danny boy. [Smile]

What about one of those portable dvd players? Those are always a good gift.

Posted by quidscribis (Member # 5124) on :

Possibility. *nods* Especially if bundled with a cheesy romance. Cool. [Cool]

C'mon, keep the ideas coming...

The Nintendo DS. Feel the Magic XX/XY was well-reviewed. [Razz]

Posted by Verily the Younger (Member # 6705) on :

Dang, and I was going to mention the DS and "Feel the Magic". But nooo, I had to be all snarky instead and give up my one chance to be helpful.

*pounds his head on the wall for self-punishment*

Aw, Verily, it's okay. *pat pat*

You could give a camera/digital camera accompanied by a frame and a statement about taking a nice picture of the couple. [Smile]

There are a lot of DDR pads for the various game systems out there. Heck, there is even one that gets plugged directly to a TV. Now if only there was a DDR game with slow dancing for two.

(DDR=Dance Dance Revolution--or dancing game style)

Gee, Dan, I've never heard of such a thing. I'll have to check that out.

Isn't it, though? [Big Grin] I'm using the Tantalus Wine Glass for my article. And I'm very very happy that Eaquae Legit told me about them. Very very happy. [Big Grin]
