Just added a page to SerenityStuff.com about Teresa's Firefly Barbies, with descriptions, pics, and some basic pointers on making your own.

Also, in the post on our experiences at FX 2006 this weekend, you can read about how Alan Tudyk and Summer Glau reacted to seeing their plastic dopplegangers. With pics!

Teresa is great with these things. Here's the Death Barbie she made for me a few Christmases past, and the Pirates of the Caribbean Barbies she made after the movie came out.
She was terrified that I'd take the dolls and the actors would be annoyed, appalled, worried they really look like that, etc, so it was with great glee that I called her up afterwards and relayed the excited compliments she got.
