I guess this makes me just one of the fold, but I thought I'd make it official.

I spend more time on here than I do sleeping. And as a teeanger, that's saying something.

I keep finding myself going through my day, thinking, "hey, Hatrack would like that!"

It's starting to scare my parents a little. Personally, I'm quite pleased. [Razz]

My name is Phillip. I've been dry for three weeks now.

Oh? What? Oh, Hatrack. Jeez, I feel so stupid now. Man, could I use a drink . . .

Posted by ClaudiaTherese (Member # 923) on :

Now you know why they call it HatCrack. *smile

I can quit any time I want to. And I DO -- a few times every day, at least. And on Shabbos.

I refuse to admit that I have a problem.

I remember watching the H freezes over tour on PBS with a friend over, then the friend calling my mom the next day upset we'd exposed her to such terrible music.

I dreamed I was posting threads. In one thread I started, I put the wrong link, and by the time I woke up (still asleep), everyone else posted their own links to what they thought I meant, and some people were even having deep conversations on something I said, and it stretched for SIX pages... Wow. Then I woke up. All those posts gone. [Frown]

Now THAT is obsession. I can just see the visit with the shrink -- 'Now tell me about your dreams . . . .'

I have an bachelors degree in Psychology if that helps.

"Doctor, I have a problem"...

It probably doesn't help that the first and last things I do in the day are check the forum. And it is just so easy. So easy to read posts than... go to work.

BTW. I'm sick today, so I'll be posting all day with glee and no fear of my boss walking up behind me!

What if I don't want to overcome it?

I'm probably not as obsessed as a lot of other people, but I did have a Hatrack dream last night. I was Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States and the case before us had something to do with the 4th Amendment. The other justices were Hatrackers. Unfortunately, that's all I can remember. The names and faces didn't stick.

I would assume that Dagonee was another justice, and I get the feeling that erosomniac, Juxtapose, and jennabean were all there too.

human,

I'm so addicted, that I *posted* in your thread in *your* dream. I dreamt that I read Dr Strangelove's thread, but I didn't post in it. [Wink]

Posted by Narnia (Member # 1071) on :

Celaeno, that dream sounds like a kick in the pants. [Smile] I wish I could have been there just to see how it all played out. (I would have been the court reporter...or whoever gets to sit and listen without having to talk. [Smile] )
