Ok I have a dilemma on my hands.
Which is better? Norton or McAfee?
The reason is I just figured out that I get a free copy of McAfee and when i went to install it, it said it had to uninstall Norton, so I'm wondering which should I use?
Please post soon I need an answer.

Neither. Or both. They detect virii at about the same level. Either one is a perfectly good anti-virus solution.

If they're equal like quid says, then you should keep whichever one has a longer subscription for virus definitions.

Also, if you decide to delete Norton, I would use windows to uninstall it, or use a Norton function to uninstall. Less likely to cause problems.

Hey turns out I didnt have to delete Norton after all, I'm a great at stumbling onto loopholes like that one.

Well, you did survive the Descolada virus, what's a little software conflict after that? [Wink]
