Ok, so I'm not very good at making up games. If someone can formulate this a bit better, please feel free to do so. The idea was this:
Identify the pop-culture reference to a financial exchange or "cost."
For example:
If freedom isn't free, how much does it cost?
or
You go to see the trees in the museum. How much were you charged to see 'em?

Someone worth their weight in gold...is probably pretty darn small.

Dollar and a half.
Big Yellow Taxi by Joni Mitchell:
They took all the trees Put ’em in a tree museum And they charged the people A dollar and a half just to see ’em
quote:If freedom isn't free, how much does it cost?
My share's a buck o five, but taken all together it's a big freakin' fee.
Trey Parker's "Freedom isn't Free," I think.

When the money comes in for the work I do, how much do you get?

[addendum: maybe citing the lyric/source would be helpful - in supplying answers]

How many trees do you have to cut down to make the money to pay someone to see trees in a museum?

Oh...I didn't get it. I thought you wanted us to make stuff up. You want the pop culture references, eh?
Oh well...
Sorry, I messed up.
Drat, and I even knew the Joni Mitchell one.

no, I had a vague idea for a fun game and wanted some help in formulating it.

We believe in you! Keep trying for I am sure, you clod, of all people, could so.

I thought this thread was about getting rid of the penny.
I was excited for a minute.

daggumit!
Thanks Reticulum. Lyrhawn, I dunno what you were on about. Maybe I can find something to keep you excited for more than a minute (doubtful) in the future. What's your pleasure?
Posted by Dagonee (Member # 5818) on :
There's still an unanswered question that is part of your game.
Posted by Lyrhawn (Member # 7039) on :
A discussion on the end of the penny, why we should discontinue it's production, and how useless the stupid thing is.

I'll pass almost every penny on to you.
Sorry, I don't know the artist, but the song is Walk 5000 miles, or maybe I Would Walk 5000 Miles.

500 Miles by The Proclaimers

And if I had a dollar, I might give you this much.
Posted by solo (Member # 3148) on :
Oh and another one.
Everyone says they want a million bucks, but I'd rather have a million of these.
This one is probably going to be a little tougher as it is not as mainstream a song.

99 (cents, presumably) The Spindoctor's song, you know, their only hit.
