My baby sister just delivered her first child, a daughter named Riley. We didn't even know if she was expecting a boy or a girl, and my Dad has been referring to the baby as his "grandthing". <grin>
My brother-in-law took a picture with his phone and sent it to me, but it's teeny. I can't wait to actually see her.

Congratulations! "Grandthing." I'm not sure if that's better or worse than my mom-- she doesn't like the name we have picked out, so she keeps referring to our daughter-in-the-making as "Griselda".
