Sorry, this is something of a whine thread. I got glasses today and my eyes are burning. I don't know if thats because of the glasses, because of my pupils finally un-dialating, or ... what, but it hurts. I no likey it. Of course, staring at a computer screen may not be helping them ... blah. Ok, anyways, sorry, this is stupid of me to create a thread for, but I've whined enough to my family. Indulge me if you would. [Cry]

Ummm, maybe you have been staring at your computer screen to long. Or maybe your eyes are just adjusting to having the eye wear. [Smile]

Try washing them. Or use eyedrops. Or, what the hey, just whine to everyone near and far. That ought to help.

Tried washing them, I don't have any eyedrops, so therefore whining seems to be my only course left. Besides, its just so much fun, creating self-indulgent threads to whine about incurable maladies which no one cares about. In fact, its one of my great joys in life.
Though now I'm going to try sleeping. Maybe that'll work. [Sleep]

Cheer up Dr. Strangelove, that burning sensation in your eyes probably just means that you're about to get heat vision.

That'd be sweet so long as a whole city block doesn't come down every time the Dr. blinks. [Wink]

From my experience, you're going to have to deal with that for a while until your eyes have adjusted to the eyewear. It should go away after a day or two, unlike braces...
