Are dogies common on other forums?

Enough with the dobies on the "dobie" thread. Especially ones that make no sense and have no link. It's really, really getting old.

I didn't even realize it was an attempted dobie until you pointed it out. I guess that is a sign of a bad dobie. [Razz]

If they can ever be anything else.

Oh, my gosh. Suddenly everything makes sense now.

I'm not even going to tell you how old I am and I never knew that dogies were calves till I clicked on those links.

"Sweet Baby James" (love that song, but couldn't ever figure out the line that says "the dogies retire . . ." Thought he was talking about dogs, but why was he saying it funny? )

not to mention, of course, "Git Along Little Dogies." I'd heard that phrase but I'm not sure if I ever actually heard the song. Now that I googled it I see that if I'd ever listened to the words I'd know what it was about.

Wow. Bad dobie, but I learned sure learned something from the thread!!

I knew when I was very young, but we had an LP, and the cover showed a cattle drive.
