It was caught (the cancer) so soon, but sad it didn't seem to help much. [Frown]

Yeah her son is only 13, I hope he's doing ok.

He had other kids, but they were like 22 and 26 I think, her only kid is the 13 year old boy.

Yet another cancer that doesn't get the attention it needs. I think we have a blind spot toward lung cancer victims, assuming they "got what they asked for" since they smoked. Here's an example of a non-smoker who died of the disease and incidentally, 20% of lunch cancers in women are in non-smokers.

Lung cancer kills more women each year than breast, ovarian and colon cancer combined.

Yesterday was tough, we saw the news and the woman next to me in chemo was a non-smoking lung cancer victim.

I was also sad to hear of the death of Dana Reeve. She sure left a good legacy for her son. Still, it is so sad that her son has these 2 losses at such a young age.
