I know it's just VW's snobby uncle but I'll take a Porsche 911 turbo. European delivery package so that I can run it on Nurburgring before brigning it to America. At 130000+ that's most likely never going to happen. So I will content myself with driving my Subaru Impreza like I am Petter Solberg.

I have recently bought my dream car. A 2002 silver Honda Civic. This baby's got AC, power locks, power windows, and a 3 year bumper to bumper warranty. Oh yeah!

See, the thing is, I love my Passat.
The Phaeton isn't very practical, especially since it gets 12mpg city, but that's not the point!
The point is that I can drive it places when I want to be like, "HEY, LOOK AT MY HUGE, PRETTY CAR. ISN'T IT PRETTY? GAWK AT IT AS I SIT BEHIND MY TINTED WINDOWS GETTING A MASSAGE FROM MY LEATHER SEATS WHILE BEING ASSISTED BY SENSORS IN PARALLEL PARKING."
I am very amused by sensors. My Passat has sensors that detect moisture on the windshield and turn on and adjust the windshield wipers accordingly. I love it.
I also want a private jet, but I want it to be lime green and black and have a hot tub.

Objects don't usually motivate me, but rather the feeling I have.
Right now my room is horrible, and the feeling I get is motivating me to clean everything up so it's nice again.

That's where it starts, but where will it end?
If it senses that the windshield is foggy and turns on the defroster, that's OK. But what about when it senses that you're putting on a little too much weight and won't let you stop at a drive-thru. How about if it decides you've been partying too much and takes you to a library instead of the clubs? Will you be amused then?
Not being able to decide when you want your windshield wipers on is just a beginning.

My dream house would be where I live right now. Nice neighborhood, nice neighbors. What would turn it into the dream house would be the presence of the live-in maid. Like Hazel. Or Alice. I want someone to pick up after me, run errands, cook, and, what the hey, draw my bath and lay out my clothes.
It's a beautiful dream.

Hey - that was my first car (well, not the station wagon model, but the regular Valiant). Slant-six was so easy to work on. Three-on-the-three. It was sweet. Too bad I totaled it.

I had one too. But, always wanted a station wagon. I bought mine for $400 drove it for 100,000 miles and sold it for $250. It didn't have a radio and my (then) new bride thought it was ugly. So, we parted ways. (Car not bride)Actually, now that I think of it, the bride was about $300 and has many more miles on her now. So, I guess it was the right economic decision after all.

I'd buy a vacation home in the mountains. Preferably the mountains in southern North Carolina, so it isn't too far away for us to drive up there for a weekend getaway.
It would be three levels - a main living level with kitchen, family room and a couple bedrooms. A basement level with a game room complete with pool table, dart board, etc. and a another bedroom. And the top level would be devoted to a master suite with bedroom, private balcony overlooking the mountain views, and a glorious bath with spa tub. There would be plenty of room for us and our kids and even for guests (some of the kids rooms could house bunk beds and the game room could have a sleeper sofa so we'd have plenty of sleeping space)

The only thing really planned out in my dream house is the kitchen. I want an industrial strength kitchen. Most important is the sink. I want one of those giant industrial 3 compartment sinks. With a real sprayer. None of those wussy home model things they try to pass off as sprayers. Also lots of counter space. And a grill. And a walk-in. Two walk-ins -- a fridge and a freezer. And an industrial oven. Preferably a Combi.

I think my motivation to be ultra-successful would be to become powerful, and then I wouldn't have to decide what awesome things I wanted-I could just watch what all of you decide, and take what I liked. Mwahaahah!
