I've been exposed to a number of really good hard rock bands by one of my friends. This friend of mine is the son of a preacher, so they are very religious. So, he listens solely to Christian hard rock. And at first I was apprehensive. But it was actually really good.

My favorites right now are:

1. Project 86

2. Thousand Foot Krutch

3. Pillar

4. Dizmas

5. Relient K

Ooh, I love Relient K!

Are they hard rock? I never particularly liked hard rock, and I don't listen to much Christian rock, but I love Relient K. Especially their fantastic version of The Twelve Days of Christmas. Every other version is now ruined for me. (Except for the Muppets'.) [Smile]

Relient K isn't even close to hard rock. Ever.

Fine. Soft-ish Rock.

It's close enough.
