A lost classic of the "grim and gritty" super-hero comics of the 1980s?

Not quite. [Wink]

The idea is that back in the 80s there was a publisher named "Voyager Comics" that was about to go belly-up, and their best writer was told he had five issues left to tie up all the loose threads of Union of Justice, their most popular title.

So, he decided to push the story as far as he could go...starting off by letting the bad guys win.

In actuality this is a new strip done in the style of those comics...and I like what I've read so far. I became a fan back in the era when Marvel, DC, and a whole slew of indies began experimenting with doing a lot of the previously rare "bad guys win" stories.
