So on a quick visit to my family, my little sister showed me a site she went to for health class: RealAge.

It was interesting, although not perfectly detailed or accurate by any means. For example, it told me to eat more tomato products because I was lacking lycopene. However, they failed to give an option so that I could account for the fact that my multi-vitamin supplies it. Also, it's a self quiz, so there could be a lot of fudging involved. Personally, I tried to over-estimate what I saw as unhealthy things like motorcycle mileage driven per year and under-estimate healthy things, such as exercise.

It's only a 10 minute quiz or so, and is kind of fun. Let's see what you get.

I'm 26.6 years old, my 'real age' is 17.3

I'm actually 24.2 and my 'real age' is 21.0

The exercise section killed (excuse the pun) me. Right now I am convincing myself that when they finish the gym on the 1st floor of my work space that I will go there everyday [Smile]

Wow. I think I may have some problems. My body is currently 8 years older than it should be. Ouch.

Edit: I'm 24.1 and my body is 32.1

I'm 20.5 and my realage is 15.1.

Most surprising thing to me: my car is aging me. I drive a compact and it dinged me for that.

I'm 21.3, and my real age is 16.1.

My "realage" is 5 months older than I really am. =(

I'm 45 and it said my real age is 42. Not much difference, unfortunately. Does account for the fact that most of the time I think of myself as age 18

I'm 25.3, and my "real age" is 22.0. Sticking to my exercise program, more fruit and veggies in my diet, and more fish in my diet are obvious starting points for improvement.

It is a bullshite test, plain and simple.

Mind you I scored 3 years younger than I really am., but crap all the same.

23.9 : 16.8

It has to be the exercise kick I'm on...

I'm glad I gave them a junk email. It seemed like an information gathering scheme to send you junk mail. [Smile] I haven't gotten my results yet...

I'm 25.1 and my realage is 31.1 [Frown]

I think it was mostly because my mom and aunt (on my dad's side) have had breast cancer, but it also says I'm stressed out and should get a dog, which I'm rather amused by. [Smile]

It is silly...I'm 22.6, and it says I'm 18.9.

Not that I'm complaining.

*blink* Apparently I'm too young to take the test. I wish they told me that before I gave them an email address.

No matter, it was a spam account anyway.

Same here.

Actual Age: 21.2 years

"Real" Age: 18.3 years

I exercise and what not, but I'm surprised since I thought my diet and anxiety would have added alot more on.

Actual age: 20.7

Real age: 21.8

I should probably exercise.

Ha! So far I win for least healthy! Oh, wait... [Frown]

Actual: 27.3 "Real": 23.3

I need to eat more fruits and veggies and exercise more, but I knew that already.

According to our analysis of your RealAge profile, we've determined that our featured products are exactly what you need to lower your thetans!

I mean, real age. That's what I meant to say.

I'm 21 and my Real Age is 23.4. [Frown]

Anyone know of a good vitamin?

31.6 and my real age is 28.8 not to bad for an over weight red meat eater. I do have a hard time with them telling me to buy a larger car. I drive my wife's car when going out of town which is a larger vehicle and only drive my compact in town at low speeds. But it doesn't ask for information like that.

I agree, and did not go any further with it.

Plus, I know that, though I am 42, I act about 12,and look about 50.

I got so ticked off at the questions, I gave up in disgust.

I think that makes me 80.

I'm 23.1 and my Real Age is 23.8-- probably since I'm still carrying 20 extra baby lbs. and have asthma and such.

My r--

You're only 23?

My real age is 38.4.... which sucks considering I'm 28. Gotta lose this weight, man oh man.

I am 26.0, and my "Real Age" is 21.7. Uh, yay? I really didn't know how to answer some of those questions, and I think the test made too many assumptions to have any real meaning. But it did make some good points. *goes off to floss*

Nonsense.
You would have gotten mad at the idea that someone asked you to use the computer at all, if you were 80. You would have read it in the newspaper, by gum, and loved it. You would have answered in pen, on paper, and put the paper in an envelope. You would have put this thing called a stamp on the envelope, and sent it in something called the mail.

You can't fool me, you young whippersnapper!

I'm a year older than I ought to be. As near as I can tell the things I need to change are not have my father die in the past 12 months and floss. Well, 1 of those things will be easy!

Calendar age 34.7, "real age" 29.1

My "plan" says I'm sleeping too much, but considering I'm six months pregnant, I really don't think 9 hours is out of line. The plan to improve it seems to assume I need more sleep because I'm not sleeping well, but I sleep like a rock for all nine hours.

Mt age is -3.3 and I find that hard to believe. I am at least +10. I look and feel older. Oh well, it made me feel good.

Posted by prolixshore (Member # 4496) on :

Actual: 22.8
Real: 15.2

I am older because I don't floss enough?

You and me, both. I started lying, then not answering, then I just gave up. I don't know what my "real age" is, but my life is not long enough to waste time on that mishegos.

But you know what? I work with a woman who is a real pain in the neck. So I entered in her email address at work and answered all the questions for her. When she gets to work in the morning, she will find out that she is a lot older than she thought she was.

Especially since I added about 20 years to her baseline age.

I can be such a stinker! [Evil Laugh]
