I'm putting October 3rd on my calender. And I'll be eagerly awaiting it. And I'll tell you why. It's this little thing called The Reckoning .

I love Pillar. Absolutely love them. I saw them in concert at Cornerstone, and they were the best performance there. Their music is good. And it isn't vulgar.

They were amazing. The best part was the drum solo in the middle of "Underneath it All," but the second best part was the three new songs they performed. "Tragedy," "Everything," and "Crossfire." Only "Everything" is available at the above link.

But I don't think you'll be disappointed. They rock hard. And they rock for God.

I'm eagerly awaiting the Day of Reckoning.

Am I the only Pillar fan?

Probably

I was going to go to an Elvis Costello concert on the 12th for my birthday. My parents aren't exactly the kind of people who get me gifts, so I gave some money to father and asked him to get me some tickets and we could pretend he bought them for me. I even pointed him to the website offering said tickets.

Turns out he'd rather have the money.

I'm a little disappointed.

I don't mind them. I wouldn't call myself a big fan, but I think they're pretty good. I'll probably buy the album if I happen to have money at the time.

Have you ever heard the band Avenged Sevenfold, Steve? They're a hardcore rock band with some roots in Christian rock (they're name is a reference to a verse in the Bible). I think you'd like them.

There isn't an emoticon for my reaction.

They do the song "Bat Country" don't they?

Yeah, that's probably their most popular songs, but I don't really like that one. Listen to "Seize the Day" "Chapter Four" and "MIA". I like those songs alot better.

Are they on the same album?
