With the box office success of a certain film not too long ago, I think I expected this one.

Hmmmm.

While I have mixed feelings about stories I consider sacred adapted into movies, this might be good.

Like it or hate it, Mel Gibson went out on a limb to make Passion. For that he has my respect. As far as the Nativity is concerned, I unfortunately can't stop my cynical side seeing a movie producer sitting behind his desk scheming about how to cash into a demographic he most likely has no connection to other than wanting thier money. Then again, being ignorant of the producer, the director and the writers, it is an unfair assumption to make.

I still want to see "Passion II: The Revenge."

"This time, salvation is personal!"

They had commercials for that movie on the big screen at Cornerstone.

I saw that teaser, and I couldn't get the thought out of my head of Mel Gibson, in the manger, as the baby Jesus.

They had commercials for this too.

There are going to be more holes in this movie than a bullet-riddled sponge.

*blink blink*
*in his best movie announcer voice*
One family, one journey, one child, who would change the world.

That just scares me.

Of course, I may end up watching this, regardless of holes.

We went to see Superman and this trailer was shown. After the trailer ended, my wife said (out loud and on purpose)

"Oh Jesus."

There was much laughter.

I'm kinda weirded out that the little girl in Whale Rider is Mary. But... it kinda seems like a nice movie, not that we've been shown a lot. It might be interesting, cause there's a neat story in there.

...or it might just be that I find middle eastern people and places really hawt.
