Handy McRogue!
His name is actually Alexander McRogue. Growing up he was called "Sandy" (which is short for Alexander) Of course, after his ability with tinking became apparent everyone started calling him "Handy Sandy" which eventually got shortened to just Handy.

I've seen this claim before. But I haven't even seen the final season (nor do I plan to), and I knew it. Pretty sure it was mentioned in passing during season 2.
