Hey there fellow internet humans. I was just introduced to this forum today, and I've been thoroughly impressed with your ability to present cognitive arguments as well as ridicule them. I originally hail from the frozen tundras of Hawaii but am presently teaching english in Fukuoka Japan. Naistoomeechoo, as they say here.

Below are a few questions to test your skills of psychicedness.

Based on what you know about me:

1. What color are my eyes?

2. What do I usually do at 2:45 pm on Thursdays?

3. What is my religious affiliation?

Answers await the deserving...

Posted by kaminari (Member # 9622) on :

Wow, so I just asked Ryuko if she could speak english. Then I looked, and at 4773 posts I'm sure that was a stupid question. It's kind of reactionary you know? I have to ask that a lot here in Japan. My apologies.

Can Ryuko speak English?

Well, sometimes she has to be prodded a little . . . [Wink]

Posted by Morbo (Member # 5309) on :

You haven't been around, Abby. How are you?

1) An interesting shade of deep violet. Well, you would really enjoy them if they were.

2) The same thing you do everyday, try and take over the world.

3) I'm not sure but it involves elaborate clothing optional rituals that usually include a small waffle iron, a Chihuahua, and large amounts of banana extract.

3)You are Mormon, but just don't know it yet. Beware the green jello....

1. Your eyes are brown.

2. You sleep. That's what any sane, rational, intelligent person would be doing on a thursday afternoon.

3. You're an atheist. I'm pretty sure it's the atheists turn to gain a member.

Posted by kaminari (Member # 9622) on :

Wow, I've never been called sane, rational, or intelligent before. You've earned your name in the eyes of this one.

On the other hand, man you're close in your guesses.

Posted by Tatiana (Member # 6776) on :

Welcome, kaminari! Your name reminds me of kalimari (is that how you spell it?) and makes me hungry.

I won't guess your questions, since I'm only psychic with people I know. When will the answers be revealed?

Posted by kaminari (Member # 9622) on :

I believe that's calamari. And I'm glad I make you hungry. Let's go eat.

Sorry, I never really set a deadline on the answers did I?

HEY! Now that I'm done with that, I'm interested in learning about the various programs in Japan where you can teach english. I heard you don't have to speak Japanese, just know your English well.

I'd like to have a really immersive learning experience with Japanese. Rote and classes are alright, but I need to be dropped in the middle of things so I can figure them out.

...

Can we talk more? Send me an email!
