For anyone who missed it, the moment of zen on the Daily Show was an anchor on one of the major news networks after he thought he was off the air saying 'Like anyone really cares about Mel Gibson. We've got a war in the Middle East, Castro, and a Tropical Storm headed for us and they want to know about Mel Gibson, fine, whatever.' Paraphrased.

I kind of have to agree with him. Yeah, it's embarassing, but he could have said a heck of a lot worse.
