For the last 6 weeks or so, I've had recurring pain in my left wrist. I first noticed it when I was visiting my daughter and holding my grandson a lot. I don't remember any particular instance where I might have injured it. I figured it would go away when I went home and back to work, but it hasn't. It's actually getting worse. [Frown]

The pain is on the ulnar side of my wrist, and is quite sharp. It's especially bad when I type, but knitting doesn't aggravate it. Twisting the arm radially does aggravate it. There is some localized swelling, but no redness or heat.

I'll see if I can make an appointment with my doctor tomorrow, but I thought I see if anyone here had any suggestions.

Well, I'd hope CT didn't hurt your wrist! [Eek!] [Wink]

In all seriousness, I hope you feel better. I've had mystery joint and bone pain for years, it's not fun. I assume you've tried OTC painkillers/anti-inflammatories, moist and dry heat, and rest and elevation. I find that sometimes switching from my normal painkiller to asprin, which I don't usually use, helps. I sometimes need salsalate (a prescription med of the same type.) I hope you are able to find out what it is; five successive doctors have been able to come up with guesses at best as to what ails me.
