BBC news

quote:
A Philippines judge who said he consulted imaginary mystic dwarves has failed to convince the Supreme Court to allow him to keep his job.

Florentino Floro was appealing against a three-year inquiry which led to his removal due to incompetence and bias.

He told investigators three mystic dwarves - Armand, Luis and Angel - had helped him to carry out healing sessions during breaks in his chambers.

I've read a few judgments which would be explained by mystical dwarves.

I think it must have been Grumpy who started throwing books, don't you think?

Wow, that's old. I recall 1st hearing about it a year or so ago, and then his failure to be re-instated was at least a month ago.

His "explanation" of what he orignally said when he lost his job is every bit as funny as his original statement, that's for sure.

What a man (or a judge) does behind the closed doors of his rooms (or chambers) with three three mystic dwarves should be his own business.

Maybe the judge that ruled against us a couple years ago was talking to mystical dwarves. He said, and I quote, "There's no question you did the work on this house. There's no question you had a contract to complete the work. There's no question you didn't get paid. But I'm finding against you anyway." Gee, lovely. Thanks. I'll just eat the cost of the work we did, and now get to pay my legal fees on top of it, thanks a lot.

Mystical dwarves in judges' chambers certainly would explain a lot.

How about. "there is no doubt that the accused stole the merchandise. However, since the company cannot accurately tell how many things were stolen, I find him not gulty." That from a labor arbitrator.

Even if you DO consult with mystical dwarves, it's usually not wise to talk about them behind their backs.

The pink invisible monkey that lives in my desk drawer says that this judge is WRONG!

The monkey, named Phil, knows these dwarves. While they are quite competent in constitutional perogatives, their understanding of Plessy is very rudimentary, and their liberal interpretation of judicial powers will result in overly broad judgements.

The last thing we need is Activist Judicial Invisible Mystical Dwarves.

Maybe that particular judge would have profited to have had the assistance of 3 wise mystical dwarves.

Dwarves certainly know the value of hardwork, and I imagine they would have insisted you be paid for your labor.
