I was impregnated by Shepherd's second cousin on his mother's uncle's side. But he abandoned me on a hike through the woods so Shepherd is raising the child. I fear for the child's life. I'd raise him myself but I had to keep the whole affair a secret from my parents. I'm at a loss and the stress it is causing me has led me to beg of your advice and for any additional heroin that you have lying around.

Yes, it is a hard life raising a child in a lonely cabin. Crystal-city's heroin addiction is really quite trying on her son. He's a good boy, he just needs to detox.

I would recommend not snorting Mr. Card. It seems like a good idea at first, you think nobody's going to get hurt, but soon you're selling your body on the corner.

It's true. I love Card's books and i'm constantly trying to get my friends to read his books. Shepherd still hasn't read the Alvin Maker series. I am continuing to work on him.
