So who's going to start a thread regarding the moral dilemas cancer cells experience in their day to day lives? Who's going to be the one to come in defense of cancer cells because they're being verbally mistreated, or being repressed by unethical and untested scientific practices?

Cell suicide (apoptosis) definitely does happen, and is the end goal of PDT and more traditional radiation therapy. As opposed to interphase necrosis, apoptosis limits the body's inflammatory response, such as edema.
