Anyone see the Giants/Colts game?

No way was that offensive pass interference.

And you have no proof that the game would have gone the other way without this call.

I completely agree that it was a bad call, though.

I totally assumed you were talking about something like this.

quote:
Publisher: I’m having trouble coming up with ideas for this Phalanx packaging. Say, let’s play a word association game: I say a word, and you tell me the first thought that pops into your head.
Secretary: OK!

Publisher: Kitten.

Secretary: Cute!

Publisher: Futuristic space shooter.

Secretary: Wizened old hillbilly strumming on a banjo!

Publisher: THAT’S IT! YOU’RE BRILLIANT!

The game could have gone another way without that call - with that call, it pretty much ended it right there.

It was like the ref said "the defender couldn't *possibly* have been beaten that badly, so there *must* have been interference" without actually seeing any pushoff.

Granted, if the Giants weren't so penalty happy, they wouldn't have been in that situation. Or, if, you know, they could have hit a field goal.

I just hate seeing a great offensive play pulled back on a phantom interference call.
