If I'm lucky, they'll be from here.

Darn it, now I want Tibetan food. I actually live somewhere where I could get it, too; I just don't have the time.

I hadn't seen Tinros' thread yet when I read this one, and I was mightily confused.
I've never heard of momos before, but they sound pretty good. Well, I don't know about the yak, but the rest sound good.

The yak is actually quite tasty.

Is it beef-like? Or more on the goat/lamb side?

Well, thanks a lot ElJay, I'd never even heard of momos before and now I really want some!

And even if they did deliver to Georgia . . . they're closed on Tuesdays!

My work here is done.
Nell, it's actually more like bison, if you've had that. a little corser than beef, and less fatty.

Does it bother anyone else that the full order is 10 and the half order is 6?
They do sound tasty though.
Posted by ElJay (Member # 6358) on :
It doesn't bother me, because 6 is just about the perfect amount.
And they're closed on Tuesdays? Drat. I guess I'll have to go to my other Nepali restaraunt for dinner tonight.

I have had bison, and I liked it. Okay, the yak can go on the "sounds good" list, too.

Well they think I might have buboes!!! Like in the season premiere of Grey's Anatomy. Ok, that's a lie, I'm just loppy.
Buboes are gross. Eww, eww.

Somebody had a bubo on House once as well, IIRC.

I'd like to try them. Or at least, I would, could I swallow.
