Fun book, haven't read Shadow Thieves yet though. Has anyone read it?

Whoa, I'm reading 'Peter and the Starcatchers' right now!

So why is the villain called Black Stache, instead of Hook?

Black Stache has not yet met the Crocodile when "Starcatchers" begins.

That's why. [Smile]

I've read it. I didn't like it as much as the first, but mainly because the focus was more on the plot than on the characters.

Still a fun read, though.

But I thought his name was James Hook. No?

Did the original play ever state that was his birth name?

I could be wrong (I haven't seen it in years), but I don't think it does.

Black Stache isn't pinned down as the character's birth name either, come to think of it.

Peter Pan in Scarlet is an Official sequel and just released today.

"Hook" had to be his real name.
