So last week I was complaining about not being able to buy the Little Mermaid on DVD. All my friends bought it and I was kind of bummed. I was also sickly, which is why I think I was bummed about not having my own copy of a Disney cartoon on DVD. (You have to admit though, there really is something special about The Little Mermaid.)

Well, I came home yesterday, went to my mailbox and Lo! there was a box from Amazon.com. I knew I hadn't ordered anything, so I was kind of confused. I opened it, and there was a lovely brand new copy of The Little Mermaid on DVD. My very own. I was frantically searching the receipt to figure out who it was from, and there was a sweet message from the lovely Raia. She got it for me because I was sickly and stressed and she just thought it might make me happy.

Aw. I was ferklempt.

I don't think anyone's ever done something like that for me before and I am really grateful. It totally made my week, and I plopped down and watched the movie right there on the spot. So much fun! I love that movie! [Smile]

Thank you, Raia. You are a fantastic friend and I greatly appreciate you.

I am, and don't feel bad!! It never occurred to me! I kept saying things like "She a student! She shouldn't have done this!" My sister had to yell at me and tell me not to ruin the present. [Big Grin]

I'm so glad you liked it! And yay... my own thread! Hehe... this just made me really happy. [Smile]

I kinda had a crappy day (midterms and the like), so coming back to Hatrack to find this thread just brightened it enormously. Narnia, my dear, you are MOST welcome, and I hope the movie is just as awesome now as it used to be when it first came out! [Smile]
