Has anyone else read this fantastic book by Patrick Suskind? I was floored when I saw a poster for this movie at the theater the other night. I was sure I was the only person who had read this book. I have to wonder how they'll handle the last scene....it will have to be rated R.
A couple of big name actors too-Alan Rickman and Dustin Hoffman. I think this Ben Whishaw might be a little too attractive for the role but, a little eye candy never hurt anyone. Rachel Hurd-Wood isn't looking too shabby herself.
If you haven't read the book, do so. It's short but very emotionally captivating. It's amazing how an author can make you feel sorry for a serial killer.
