With so many fantasy books getting adapted, it's starting to feel like an embarrassment of riches.

Mmm ... I've never read the books, but I really have a hard time stomaching Brendan Frasier. I did see that Paul Bettany is going to be in it though, and I really like him, so maybe he will make up for Frasiers idiocy.

Inkheart is one of the most powerful children's books I've ever read. I highly recommend it.

As for Frasier-- well, I think he was marvelous in 'The Mummy.' But (IMO) he's a little too pretty to play Meggie's father.

I just started it as well. I have it out from the library but I know that it is one I will want to own.
