For me, this pretty much sums up why Family Circus and its ilk are terrible comics. Bleh.

What a great site! Here is the best one I've generated so far.

And here's a rather odd pairing
Posted by Brinestone (Member # 5755) on October 26, 2006 10:21 AM :
Aw, dang it. I forgot to permalink, so my last one didn't link to the winner. It was a picture of the kids all running out of Sunday School class. The father was standing at the door of the church looking down on the children. The caption was, "Your pride cannot hurt me, for I have no beliefs." And here is another perfect pairing.

Wow. You all had much better luck than I did. None of my random combinations were funny at all! *returns to page refreshing*

Ok, I guess if you keep at it long enough you come up with some good ones! Die.

From Worm To Man
Posted by Stephan (Member # 7549) on October 27, 2006 11:12 AM :
Perfect example in my opinion.
Posted by Uprooted (Member # 8353) on October 27, 2006 11:13 AM :
OK, now this one didn't end up with a good cartoon to go with it, but I just had to post the quotation because it could be the Hatrack motto: "One often contradicts an opinion when what is uncongenial is really the tone in which it was conveyed."
Posted by Uprooted (Member # 8353) on October 27, 2006 11:18 AM :
Classic! No more refreshing. I'm getting to work now.

This one is a bit of a snap against religion, but, then, that's Nietzsche...
Posted by rivka (Member # 4859) on October 29, 2006 10:05 PM :
Huh. I wouldn't necessarily take it as one.
Posted by JimmyCooper (Member # 7434) on October 29, 2006 10:07 PM :
This one makes one ponder the mysteries of holidays. deep
Posted by Celaeno (Member # 8562) on October 30, 2006 02:12 AM :
...brilliant. I am sharing this with my Existentialism class.

It's a neat site, but I think I would be more impressed if the pairings weren't random.
