To make it fair, Mr. Astaire is dressed like a penguin.

Why make it the major plot point that the hero of the film is a tapdancer...then choose a species totally built wrong for the moves?

Still, any excuse to watch Astaire in action...now there's something millions of dollars in CGI FX will never replace. [Smile]

The scene with the dancing penguins from Mary Poppins has long been one of my favorites.

As is very clear in the video, penguins have legs. They're just very short and covered in feathers.

Maybe they meant visible legs instead of ones covered by things?

Maybe...

I love Fred Astaire, and I love penguins.

Who cares if the CGI can't totally pull it off? In the movie the Penguins also sing like a gospel choir, and no one is going to say they should have picked a species with better vocal cords.

*giggle* I admit, it might be something of an interesting choice...

But hey, I'm all for it!! [Smile]
