Maybe the sequel will be about Superman's son, titled: "Son of Superman." Since he is part human, he will be immune to Kryptonite, but have asthma. When the bad guys figure out what he is allergic to, then he has to overcome his wheezing to beat them to a pulp and save the world.

I know lots of people didn't like it, but I did. Aside from Kevin Spacey being a terrible Lex Luthor, I thought the story line was pretty good. I enjoyed the effects and such, and thought I got my money's worth. Of course I only paid $2.50, but hey... LOL

I'd watch the sequel. I think the story line is there and worth exploring.

Its not Spiderman, but at least its better than "The Hulk" movie.

I mostly enjoyed it, and would probably see any superman live action movie in the theatre.

Though I don't like that style of Clark Kent anymore. I think I've been spoiled by the modern comics, Lois and Clark, and Smallville interpretations of the character. I like Clark having a backbone, and Superman being the secret identity.

I also detested the actress who played Lois. There is something about the young brunette look (from Katie Holmes to Lana in Smallville) that bothers me.

I did like the character of Lois' husband, I hope he gets to be more developed and they don't split up. If he goes, I hope it is a heroic death, maybe even saving Superman's life.

I didn't like it at all. Besides being boring and depressing, the continuity glitches were apalling.

If Superman II is really the backstory, then Lois has no memory of ever being with Superman, and after they were, he had to have left pretty much right away, and she had to have hopped in the sack with whats-his-face pretty much right away, and therefore has thought all this time he was the father.

Upon finding out Supes is the father, where is the shock, since as far as she knows there's no way he could be?

Or, Superman II isn't really the backstory, despite everyone saying it was, in which case Lois and Supes had a actual love affair (and he slept with her as Superman, never revealing he's Clark) in which case she knows perfectly well whose kid it is and is just a filthy liar, and Supes is the kind of guy that ditches his girlfriend for 5 years...

Either way, not good.

Superman Reprised. Superman Resurgent. Superman Deluxe Redux. Superman Rehashed. (Consult your own thesaurus.) Or maybe, Superman On the Rebound! Ultimate worst names? Son of Superman. or even worse, the feminist version, Son of Lois.

I heard Singer said the “Returns” was loosely based off the first two movies, not an exact sequel, so I didn't have problems with the small inconsistencies between the movies from 20 years ago. But I thought “Returns” did drag in places and wasn't nearly as good as what Singer had done with the X-men movies. Obviously he made a big difference there because X3 was definitely lacking, all special effects no story

I thought it was pretty good, better than The Punisher or The Hulk or something like that. Had a tons of references to the originals.

I thought X3 was the best of the X-men movies. The story seemed to be told well--which is the work of the Director. Good special effects we've come to take for granted in modern sf&f movies. Exploration of characters and their growth and development are hallmarks of a story well told, along with dramatic buildup and payoff. X3 excells in all these areas.
