My little Sam-sam has been sneezing and breathing through his mouth for the last day or two. He is eating fine, seems to be drinking fine, sleeping a bit more than normal, but still chasing his sister around and generally is his usual self besides the sneezing. He's a year and a half old. Should I be worried? At what point does he need to go to the vet?
Oh, and in case you missed it - this is about a cat. Not a kid.

I say take him to the vet anyway just to be on the safe side. My rabbit wasn't eating anything yesterday. He wouldn't even take a treat so I dropped him right off at the vet to get him looked at as soon as possible. A few weeks ago he was breating very fast too, but he was eating and doing everything normally. So get him checke,d he could have a little kitty cold.

Not that I don't appreciate Syn's advice - the thing is that last time I took him to the vet, he was terrified and wet his carrier and then the vet examined him and said he was fine and I got to pay $60 for the whole thing. So.
I hope bunny baby is doing better.

Why not call up your vet, ask to talk to the vet herself (not a receptionist), and ask her if she thinks it's serious, and you ought to come in. My vet in California would give advice like that, though the one I have here always tells one to come in.

He is. He's driving me insane. That's a good sign. He just somehow got out of his cage and I had to put him back in. No way I have time to chase him all over the room tomorrow to give him this stuff!

It's possible that he has an upper respiratory infection. Vets usually prescribe an antibiotic for that. I know this is gross, but when he sneezes, if it's not clear, then he's probably got an infection. Also, if he's breathing out of his mouth all the time, you should probably take him to the vet.
