Well, this would explain why I can't shake this "cold." I think I might have chicken pox, yet again. If I do, this will be the fifth time in my life I've had it. HOORAY. I just started breaking out in a mysteriously chicken-poxy plague of red bumps all over. I have an appointment with my doctor, but not for three and a half hours. I REALLY hope it's not chicken pox again. Every time I have it, it's less horrible, but it's still no fun, and it hangs onto me forever. My doctors can't tell me why I have a retarded immunity to this virus, either. It's just a magical genetic surprise, I guess.
Anyway, it could just be an average old rash as a result of my already lowered immunity, and it will go away soon, so I'll keep my fingers crossed.
Just needed to vent. Okay, back to vaccuuming and sweeping and scrubbing the bathroom (and no, I wasn't scrubbing the bathroom when the rash erupted, so it's not a reaction to Comet, or anything! )

Oh, poor thing! My brother had five cases as a kid. Because of that, they recommended the vaccination. And yep, he was one of the ones who had a very mild case shortly after getting the vaccination (it was going around and I guess his immunity to it wasn't complete.)
Oh, well. I hope you feel better soon.

Now that I'm an adult (all my previous cases were as a kid...my pediatrician is now retired, darn it, otherwise I'm sure he'd love to talk to my current doctor about it!) I bet they'll vaccinate me, too.
Or it could be shingles, which is something that just can't be helped, as I understand it - like a recurrence of the chicken pox that's already in me.
Otherwise, I'm in great health, so I really shouldn't complain. Life could be much worse.

Yeah, shingles is herpes zoster. Once you have chickenpox, you never really don't have it.
It doesn't sound like shingles (which confines itself to a general region) so .. yes, hopefully it is not.

Oy! Feel better.
My little brother had mononucleosis twice. We told him that he had stereonucleosis.

Hahaha - stereonucleosis. Love it.
Well, I am back from the doctor. Apparently, it's a drug rash (a pretty bad one!). It looks like I'm allergic to the amoxicillin I was given for a very wimpy case of strep throat almost two weeks ago! Wow!
Good to know, I guess. Now I'm so tired from all the cleaning and going to the doctor and having a horrid cold that I'm going to put on Manos: Hands of Fate and take a nap with my kitties. Good night, Hatrack, from rash-covered me. <3
