1) If a motorcycle is your main means of transportation to and from work, it's good to check the weather report for more than whether it will snow or not: Weather Warning

2) For the purposes of a high wind advisory, a motorcycle does count as a high profile vehicle

3) Even traveling at 70mph, 70 mph gusts of crosswind can blow you into the other lane of the highway no matter how much you lean into the wind, as well as almost blow you over at a standstill.
