A look at the life of Beatrix Potter...

Looks interesting. [Smile]

Just saw this for the first time today. Very sweet, and very sad.

However, a quick search through the internet shows it was woefully inaccurate historically. Sad. [Frown]

At least Ewan McGregor was adorable, and Zellwegger really held her own in a cast of REAL Brits.

I love the story of Hunkypunk -- the two bad mice. [Smile] Big Beatrix Potter fan.

I really liked that movie, which I didn't expect. It's not perfectly accurate in terms of its history (and I doubt in reality she saw her bunnies coming to life quite that literally)... but it was similar enough that reading her bio online gave me some unfortunate spoilers.

It was a sweet, magical sort of movie though - haven't seen anything like that in a while.

The wife liked it. I didn't watch it.

I didn't like it. I don't much like Renee Zellwegger OR Ewan McGregor and I saw the sad part coming from a mile away.

I liked 'Finding Neverland' which was somewhat similar, but this was a little too sweet for me - it seemed to be trying too hard to be adorable.

Plus Renee Zellwegger kept doing this thing that I can only describe as simpering for a lot of the film. I'm sure that the real Beatrix was far too sensible to simper.

'Finding Neverland' was a great movie.

Still haven't seen this.

I've wanted to see this movie ever since I saw the commercials for it.

I love Renee Zellwegger.

Yup.

One of the first movies I watched on Netflix's new(-ish) Watch it Now service. Very enjoyable.

I saw that too. Didn't care much. It made a better movie this way.
