The Season One DVD collection of Saturday Night Live is being released in December.

It's been confirmed that these episodes will be as they originally aired...complete with sketches and songs that were deleted in syndication.

This means that Jim Henson's long lost Land of Gorch Muppet sketches will be available for the very first time since...well, 1976.

I'm rather curious to check them out. They're supposed to be quite different from the later Muppet projects.

I don't know. I do know that The Muppet Show Season Two will come out in the first quarter of 2007.
